EMI's affiliate in Colombia when it started operating in 1995. Later the "Music" word added to the company (around 1998-1999), became EMI Music Colombia S.A.. The label used was EMI Colombia Prior to this, EMI's releases in Colombia were distributed by Sony Music Entertainment (Colombia) S.A., which was known until 1990-1991 as Discos CBS, S.A., Colombia.
