In early February 2005 Lumberjack Distribution bought distributer Mordam Records and formed the Lumberjack Mordam Music Group with a fulfillment deal with Wea. CEO and president was Dirk Hemsath. Main office was in Toledo, OH, while the warehouse of Mordam Records was kept for about a year for the time of transition, and former Mordam Records owner Ruth Schwartz served as a consultant for about half a year.

The company ran into trouble due to declining sales, leaving labels and misguided decisions and finally folded in May 2009.
