Dyntec Disc Production Co. Ltd was formed in December 1991 and was the first producer of CD/Compact Discs in Thailand. Universal Mastering (2) was their in-house glass mastering plant since 1999. GMM Grammy Public Company Co. Ltd. was one of the shareholders in the company.
In November 2006, Dyntec started a partnership with U-Tech from Taiwan and in 2007 with Digital P.V. Co, Ltd., another manufacturer from Thailand.
In 2020 the company went bankrupt.
The plant can be identified by:
- The DYNTEC logo, with or without 'DYNTEC' underneath.
- The name DYNTEC (primarily in the early years of the plant)
- a specific ID in the matrix.
The ID found in the matrix has the following format: "DD" + X + 1234567 or 12345678
Example: DDA0210820
X = likely indicates the format. Known values are: A (usually found on regular CDs), V (on VCDs), VA (on AVCDs), RX (on enhanced CDs)
1234567 = a 7 or 8-digit sequential number, unique per disc. The first two digits indicate year of production.

- Enter the matrix ID (see above) as catalog number
From approximately 2008, there's also another ID present in the matrix: "F" followed by 5 digits.
