Koch Rajes CD Industries Pvt. Ltd. was the first Compact Disc Manufacturing Plant in India, commencing operations in July 1995. A joint venture between KOCH International GmbH, Austria and Rajes Art Printers, Mumbai, each holding 51% and 49% equity respectively. KRCD also had a technical collaboration with Koch Digitaldisc GmbH, (now kdg mediatech AG) who provided the technical know how and start-up expertise.
Renamed KRCD India Pvt Ltd. in 2002.
