Friedemann Josch

German flautist, saxophonist and composer in the Krautrock era, born July 21, 1952 in Mainz. Josh started in the band Missus Beastly in 1973, as saxophonist, flautist and band manager. In 1975, he joined Embryo. As the band devided itself in 1980, Josch was co-founder of that half, which was called Dissidenten. In the following years, he was also in charge of the band's owned label Exil and all activities related to this label starting from 1983. Still active in the band, Josch is today based in Berlin and Graz, Austria.
