Grup de Folk was a group of musicians and Spanish leaders that emerged in Barcelona (Catalonia) between 1967 and 1968, within the protest movement of the Nova Cançó. Grup de Folk did not have a fixed formation; it varied according to the performances. Some of the most active members were Jaume Arnella, Xesco Boix, Falsterbo 3 (Eduard Estivill, Joan Boix and Amadeu Bernadet), Pau Riba, Jordi Pujol i Cortès, Enric Herrera, Albert i Jordi Batiste, Jaume Sisa, Oriol Tramvia, Consol i Ramon Casajoana, Gabriel Jaraba, Josep Maria Camarasa, Jaume Vallcorba or Josep Molí. Other members who participated in the performances, but without appearing on the recordings were Maria del Mar Bonet and Ovidi Montllor. Manel Joseph de la Plateria and El Grup el Sac were present at the concert that was presented at the 1975 «Canet Rock» festival.
