Adjunct professor emeritus in multimedia at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, composer of popular music, economist, and journalist. He has also been a member of STIM's Board of Directors 1992–2007 and of the Government's IT Council 2007–2009.
In his research, he has written about the record industry and downloading, where he believes that the record companies' revenues have not decreased as a result of downloading, but rather that the Internet has helped to market the music.
