Alex Chavez

Multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, producer and academic, specializing in anthropology, ethnomusicology and folklore related to Latin music. Currently a professor at the University Of Notre Dame, he has also worked at the University of Illinois. He was based in Austin, Texas until 2010, when he received a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.
