Reinhold Hoffmann is a member of the cult band Haindling and plays around twenty instruments, from the alphorn to the church organ. He has made a name for himself primarily as a composer and producer of film scores for cinema, television, and commercials. His specialty is orchestral scores, in which he combines classical orchestration with modern programming. Reinhold Hoffmann has composed and produced the music for countless TV movies, as well as over 1000 episodes of daily dramas and TV series. Examples: The 2016 Emmy Award winner (for the score to the four-part TV documentary "The Jesuit" about Pope Francis) began his career at the age of seven: He received his piano and vocal training with the Tölz Boys' Choir, followed by concerts with Herbert von Karajan, Karl Böhm, and Wolfgang Sawallisch. After studying at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts (oboe, piano, composition), he initially worked as a composer, producer, and musician in the classical music world (including at the Bavarian State Opera).
