June 26, 1948 – March 28, 1993 Buddy Red Bow was a South Dakota Lakotan musician and actor. He made music from the 1970s through the '90s and had minor roles in several films and TV shows: "How the West Was Won", "Young Guns II", "Thunderheart". In 1998, after his death, he was inducted into the Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame.
