Marilyn

British/Jamaican pop singer and songwriter born November 3 1962 in Kingston, Jamaica. Back in the '80s, Marilyn was one of Britain's most successful gender-bending rock stars. First a huge figure on the club scene, he soared to the top of the European, Japanese and Australian charts with hits like "131666" and "131668". He also modeled for Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood. He became known to U.S. audiences when he appeared in the Band Aid music video for "57277''. In the 1980s, he had a relationship with later singer and rhythm guitarist Gavin Rossdale.
