Swedish singer, guitarist and songwriter, born 13 May 1948 at Lilla Essingen in Stockholm. His music combines American singer-songwriter style with Swedish song tradition. Among the Swedish artists and songwriters he has influenced are Ulf Lundell, Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson. The 2025 Cornelis Prize will be awarded to John Holm.
