Swedish musician (clarinetist, pianist, organist, flutist) and composer, born 12 December 1942 in Högalid parish, Stockholm, died 13 March 2015 in Prague (registered in Högalid parish, Stockholm). Bergman graduated from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 1966. After playing in Jan Rohde's The New Wild Ones, he was in the bands Quints, Atlantic Ocean and Fläsket brinner. In 1970, together with Bo Anders Persson, he was the initiator of the first Gärdesfesten. In 1974, Bergman released the solo album Lyckohjulet (Gump 6) produced by Anders Burman, which also features guitarist Bengt Dahlén and bassist Per Bruun, both from Fläsket Brinner, keyboardist Christer Bjernelind from Archimedes badkar and drummer Thomas Mera Gartz from Träd, Gräs och Stenar. He also appeared on albums by Bo Hansson and Cornelis Vreeswijk, among others. Bergman was also active as a composer and musician for Riksteatern and Stockholm City Theater in the 1970s and 80s.
