The Zarkons

Dianne Chai, Randy Stodola and John McCarthy were formerly known as The Alley Cats. In 1984 they reformed the band, changing name into The Zarkons. The line-up for their second and last album, "Between The Idea And The Reality Falls The Shadow" (1986), featured Terry Cooley, replacing John McCarthy on drums, and Freda Rente (credited as Renté) on vocals, keyboards, tambourine and finger cymbals.
