Czech cello player - born 20 August 1955, Prague. Jiří Hošek studied cello under Prof. Miloš Sádlo at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts. He served as principal cello of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra in 1991–1996, and has been a soloist with this orchestra since 1988.
