The Starfighters

Dance orchestra from Belgium existed from 1962 to 2001. Members: Willy Hendrikx (guitar), Cyriel Loenders (accordion), Theo Bakens (solo guitar), Harrie Kuipers (percussion), Louis van der Sanden (alto sax) and Jan Bielen (bass guitar). In 1970 the band disbanded, but in 1976 Jan Bielen breathes new life into “The Starfighters” with Cyriel Loenders (accordion) and Danny Trickey (percussion). The group gives more than 100 performances a year. In 2001 the band stops, the music story ends.
