Canadian rockabilly upright bassist, singer and songwriter. Born in Castlegar, British Columbia, Canada 1962/1963, left in 1984, with stints in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, settling in Nelson, BC, in November 2014. Died 18 December 2025, at the age of 63.
In his 20s he was a member of The Tailgators, Shotgun Shack, Jimmy Roy's 5 Star Hillbillies, The Nervous Fellas, and The Bughouse Five, with whom he performed 1991-1997. He then set off on his own, releasing 10 albums under his own name and also as the Ronnie Haywood Trio, Ronnie Hayward Combo, and Ronnie Artur And His Orkestrio.
