Lux Divina was formed in 1997 in Gavà, Barcelona (Spain) and disbanded in 2018.
Their music has bridged the gap between by the epic rage and mysticism of the 2nd wave of 90’s Black Metal.
Some Heavy Metal sub-genres as Pagan Black Metal, Epic Doom, Prog and Avant-garde elements, adding to the years an individual vision in terms of feelings, darkness and melancholy in order to create an own caracteristic sound through the years
The band's name translates to “the nocturnal light” (Noctiluca) or “the great dead Star” related to the moon worshippers in the ancient Iberian Peninsula (Lvx Divinae Insula). Music is based upon a Nature-Driven philosophical concept
LVX DIVINA have released 3 full-length albums, two EPs, three demos and one official video clip. They also have provided contributions on official Enslaved and Desaster tribute albums.
