Vladas Daugintis

Lithuanian schlager, pop and folk vocalist. Born 1948. Trained to become an engineer, however ended up singing in the Vilniaus Aidai ensemble. Later famously performed in a duo with Svetlana Bagdonaitė from the late 70s until the end of the century, performing at various restaurants and other venues, and releasing several albums. In 1995, Vladas Daugintis formed another duo with his daughter Laura Daugintytė. Together, they recorded some folk and schlager albums during the decade. In 2018, he started singing with his latest partner, Elvyra Nickienė.
