Norwegian entertainer and media personality, (22 June 1940 – 17 October 2025). A popular host on both radio and TV, he worked for the public broadcaster NRK from 1962 till he retired in 2010. He was also a songwriter and a music artist in his own right. Probably best remembered as the host and creator of the TV program "Da Capo!" (1991 to 2001) and the radio program "Ti I Skuddet" (1962 to 1970 and again from 1981 to 1991). In 2010 he was awarded the King's Medal of Merit in Gold.
