Juan Carlos Mendoza

Chilean/ Spanish first Smooth jazz bass player, his third cd is te first smooth jazz work with best guests as Adam Hawley, Paula Atherton, Oli Silk, Roberto tola etc. He started playing in Santa y su gente (1974), with Lautaro Rosas. Later he went to Spain where he played with Jordi Sabatés, Toti Soler, Xavier Batlles, Gato Pérez, José María París, from "Patatas Fritas" (later Orquestra Plateria) and Víctor Amman (from Orquestra Mirasol). He played on Orquestra Mirasol and later on Joan Bibiloni's band. He played also with Jayme Marques, Hevia, Orquesta Mondragón, Vargas Blues Band...
