Maria Angélica Valencia

Colombian saxophonist, clarinetist improviser and composer. She is well-known as musician in concert with Meridian Brothers -- also appears as Maria "Mange" Valencia María has developed her exploration as a composer, and has performed in Latin America, Europe and the U.S. Artist in residence: Périscope (Fr), Banff Centre (Ca), and COHAR (U.S), and part of Relative Pitch Records catalog. Currently, besides her solo project, she plays in Hurakán Orkan, Meridian Brothers, MULA, Trío Lesión, Tortuga Alada, Oláceas, among others.
