Swedish musician and songwriter, born January 25, 1961.
He is primarily known as a member of the group Freestyle and later Style.
Ekman released two solo albums in the early 1990s before retiring from the limelight to continue working as a songwriter and producer, often with Christer Sandelin. He has worked with, among others, Aqua, Ace of Base, Graaf, Inner Circle, Lili & Susie, Aaliyah, Ankie Bagger, Clubland, The Corrs, Dr Alban, Jan Johansen, Lutricia McNeal, Pernilla and Niclas Wahlgren. Ekman also produces lounge collections for hotels, train companies and the like. In 2004, Ekman released an album together with Christer Sandelin and the two went on tour together.
