American musician, record producer, and computer science lecturer, born December 26, 1969, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA; died July 6, 2023, Atlanta, Georgia, USA (age 53). Known as the "fourth member" of Ben Folds Five.
First high school band was called "The Ledbetters." In college at UNC, was the sound man at Cat's Cradle, and began recording local bands, and founded Kraptone Studios. Produced the Archers of Loaf. Left college to tour with Ben Folds Five, and later completed his degree in 1996. Left the music business in the early 2000s, relocated to Durham, North Carolina, New York, and later Atlanta.
