Harlem Kiddies's discography with cataloged releases, editions, and credits
Danish jazz group, formed in 1940 by Kaj Timmermann. Between 1941 and 1945 the group made a number of recordings, reflecting the influence of the Harlem jump style and of Cuban music. In 1947 Johnny Campbell (3) assumed leadership, which continued to perform under his name - from the mid-1950s it worked principally as a dance band. Not to be confused with the later Danish jazz band Harlem Boys.
