American composer and songwriter, wrote the music for Nat King Cole's #1 hit "Too Young". Born March 1, 1914 in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. Died March 11, 2003 in Fort Lee, New Jersey USA. Lippman frequently collaborated with lyricist Sylvia Dee. He teamed up with Buddy Kaye & Fred Wise on words and music for "'A' -- You're Adorable (The Alphabet Song)," which also became a #1 hit, in 1949, as an RCA Victor recording with Perry Como and The Fontane Sisters. Other hit songs he wrote/co-wrote include "I'm Thrilled", "Chickery Chick", "It Couldn't Be True! (Or Could It?)", "My Sugar Is So Refined", "Laroo Laroo Lili Bolero", "That's the Chance You Take", "If Anyone Finds This I Love You", "A House with Love in It", "Many a Wonderful Moment" and "The True Picture". Most of those he co-wrote with Dee but also with Hal David and Edward Heyman.
