Bobby Williams & His Mar Kings

1960s-1970s soul ensemble from Orlando, Florida. Led by the flamboyant singer Bobby Williams, they played a torrid and adrenaline-filled funk heavily influenced to James Brown, their undisputed idol. In their several gigs the band shared a stage with the Godfather on three separate occasions, gaining some appreciation from Brown himself.
