Doug Frantz

American songwriter, composer and drummer. Now based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Frantz is from Watertown, South Dakota. While in high school in Watertown, he was a founding member of horn band The American Music Band, active from 1968 to 1971. He went on to study at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas, where he co-founded jazz fusion / pop band Schwantz Lefantz.
