Michael Sturgis

American drummer and educator, born October 13, 1960, Chicago, Illinois. Currently resides in the UK. Frequently credited as "Mike Sturgis" or "Mikey Sturgis." Head of drum studies at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey. Was the drummer for Redtenbacher’s Funkestra, The Staks, 21 Guns, Psycho Motel, Wishbone Ash (1995 to 1997), Asia (1994 to 2001).
