Danish musician, born 17 July 1947 in Copenhagen. Son of classical pianist and composer Herman D. Koppel. Brother of Thomas Koppel. He and Ulla Koppel are parents to Sara Koppel, Marie Carmen Koppel and Benjamin Koppel.
