Jocelyne

Born August 14, 1951 in Tunis and died June 25, 1972 in a motorcycle accident in Bry-sur-Marne. At Belvédère of Tunis, she's only 3 years old when she sang for the first time in public. In 1958, her family came to France for the birth of her young sister Patricia in July in Paris. Her father moved his dental practice to Champs-sur-Marne. In 1963, on a Revox tape recorder, Jocelyne records her first demos. The songwriter Mya Simille liked the tape and phoned at Jean-Pierre Bourtayre; then working for the record company Polydor Records. The firm distributed Brenda Lee in France and found her a local equivalent.
