Side-project of Front Line Assembly members Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, formed 1986. Originally releasing voiceless industrial soundscapes with militant drumming, Delerium gained wide recognition with a shift towards ethnic electronica and New Age influences in a similar manner to Enigma (of "Sadeness" fame) but with less Gregorian chanting. This period created their chart-topping single "Silence" (feat. Sarah McLachlan), which garnered significant attention after being remixed by various trance acts. Delerium have operated mainly as an electro pop band since then, featuring many famous female and male vocalists.
