S#arp was a South Korean, mixed gender pop group from the late 1990s to early 2000s. The group debuted with members Seo ji-young, Lee Ji-hye, Jang Suck-hyun, John Kim, and Oh Hee-jong. After the release of their first album in 1998, Kim and Hee-jong left the group and were replaced by Sori and Christoper Kim. In 1999, Sori left the group after the release of their second album and the group were officially down to four members until their disbandment. S#arp disbanded in 2002 due to ongoing internal conflicts and allegations of verbal and physical abuse between members Seo ji-young and Lee Ji-hye. From 2000 to 2002 S#arp was nominated (2001-2002), and won (2000) Best Mixed Group at the Mnet Music Video Festival (renamed to Mnet Asian Music Awards).
