Don Shirley

American jazz pianist & composer who recorded many albums for Cadence during the 1950s-60s, experimenting with jazz with a classical influence. Born January 29, 1927, Pensacola, Florida, USA. Died April 6, 2013, Manhattan, New York, USA. Alma mater: University of Chicago. He and his trio inspired the 2018 film “Green Book.”
