Hystereo are electronic duo from Dublin, Ireland, comprised of Conor Murphy and Jack Byrne.

The two musicians met in Dublin in 2001 and quickly discovered a shared love of house, hip-hop, techno, all things disco. After submitting a tape to the prestigious Glasgow-based label Soma Quality Recordings, a deal was promptly secured, and their debut 12" ‘Winters In The City’ was released in the summer of 2004. They soon began production on what would become their debut album, "Corporate Crimewave". Following the album's release, the duo relocated to Paris, where they completed a series of remixes. From 2006 to 2008, they did remixes for Celtec Twinz, Trashtalk (also known as Hey Today!), Teenage Bad Girl, Digitalism, and Hyper & JHz, and toured with their live show and DJ sets. Their music was featured on numerous compilations, video games, advertisements and television programmes, including the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2006.
