Czech composer of classical music (April 24, 1907, Plzeň – July 5, 1983, Prague), best known for his film scores, above all for animated puppet films of the director Jiří Trnka. Trojan's music is mostly written in a neo-classical style, and he often drew inspiration from the traditions of Czech folk music.
