Consuelo Calzada Vidal (El Paso, Texas, February 2, 1929 - Mexico City, January 31, 1970), known artistically as Consuelo «Chelo» Vidal, was a Mexican singer and the exclusive interpreter of the composer and pianist Agustín Lara from 1952 to 1955. She sang on radio shows on the XEW and was a pioneer on Mexican television. She recorded albums for the Orfeón and RCA Víctor labels and also participated in the golden age of Mexican cinema.
