American pianist and composer of popular music (born 20 May 1889 in New York, NY, USA – died 16 October 1918 in Harmon-On-Hudson, NY, USA). Arndt was known as the composer of "Nola" and, until he fell victim to the 1918 flu pandemic, the pianist of the Fred Van Eps Trio. He also made numerous solo recordings on piano and celeste for Victor.
