Tetsuo Sakurai is a Japanese jazz fusion bassist born on November 13th, 1957 in Tokyo, Japan. Besides his membership of renowned bands Casiopea and Jimsaku, he has worked with several Japanese and international fusion artists around the world such as, The Brecker Brothers, Bob James, Lee Ritenour, Harvey Mason, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dennis Chambers, and Senri Kawaguchi.
