Meatjack

Meatjack was a sludge/alternative metal band from the Baltimore, MD, USA. Formed in 1988 under name Stranger Than Fiction (2), in 1993 changed name to Meatjack. Split in 2005. Meatjack can be brutal, ferocious, noisy, and dissonant. They aren't afraid to pound listeners with sensory assault, but they also have a sense of melody and offer melodic passages that tend to be dark and eerie.
