Ivan Sokolov

Ivan Sokolov (born August 29, 1960, Moscow) - Russian composer, pianist and musicologist. In 1978 he graduated from the Gnessin Musical College, piano class. In 1983 he graduated from the Moscow Conservatory as a composer and as a pianist. Since 1990, a member of the Contemporary Music Association. Since 1987, a member of the Union of Composers of the USSR, after the collapse of the USSR - a member of the Union Of Composers Of Russia. Since 1994 he has been alternately living in Russia and Germany, giving concerts, composing music and teaching in Russia, Europe and America.
