Eddie Freeman

British jazz guitarist born 10 November 1909 in London, England died 23 November 1987 in Dallas, Texas He learned to play violin at 12. He took up the tenor banjo and moved to the United States. There he switched to the 6 string guitar. Back in London he played with Al Collins. He played trumpet in Belfast. In addition to transcribing and teaching flamenco guitar, Freeman designed and constructed his own flamenco and classical guitars.
