b.: 1925 (Jadotville, Likasi, Congo) Congolese singer, guitarist and composer. His musical career begins in the end of the 1940's, when Henri Bowane presents him to Ngoma (2), where he quickly becomes a star. Bukasa is among the rare Congolese musician that used to sing in Swahili, Tshiluba and Lingala.
