American gospel singer, pianist, songwriter and bandleader. Gleason was the pianist for the Blackwood Brothers for several years in the 1960s. He also wrote many Southern Gospel songs, most of which were recorded by the Blackwood Brothers. Gleason previously formed and was the manager of his own group, the Jubilee Quartet.
