Lucy Wakeford

British harpist, playing the harp since the age of five. Born 1972 in Surrey, England, UK. She was the youngest ever member of the National Youth Orchestra Of Great Britain at age ten. Studied at the Royal College of Music, London. She regularly gives solo performances and orchestral performances with many of the leading orchestras including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and The London Symphony Orchestra. Principal Harp of the Philharmonia Orchestra (2002-2011), the Britten Sinfonia, and the Orchestra Of The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Harpist with The Nash Ensemble.
