British-born guitarist, songwriter, engineer and producer, currently resides in Topanga, California. He grew up in the UK and started his career in Essex as a singer-songwriter; relocated to the U.S., first to New York to work with Louise Robey and Stan Shaffer. Became chief engineer at CBS Songs from 1983 to 1990; owned Dave Dale Music Recording Studio in New York from 1992 to 1996; as well as freelanced at other studios; relocated to Los Angeles in 1995, and worked with Colin Hay, and then many other projects producing, managing and performing.
