Born: 1959 in Barberton, Ohio and raised in Fairlawn
His interest in music began with the drums after watching The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show before switching over to the guitar at age 6. He started his first band in the 4th grade covering The Beatles and Peter, Paul and Mary songs before writing and recording his own solo material in high school. He worked with another classmate, Greg Tomanek when recording his first solo album, Hit The Road which sold 1800 copies each.
Penta would later work with other musicians and record demo tracks for CBS Records before leaving the music industry behind and enter an apprenticeship to become a master builder in cabinets and furniture.
He now works in the luthier business and owns a guitar workshop in Barberton
