Flutist Delphine Roche studied in Paris and Freiburg. Encouraged by her great enthusiasm for both contemporary music and early music, she supplemented her training with two master's degrees at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts under Karl Kaiser and the International Ensemble Modern Academy. She has since performed on both historical and modern flutes, including with the Ensemble Modern, the Museum Orchestra of the Frankfurt Opera and the Main Baroque Orchestra. She has performed at the Musikfest Berlin, the Ruhrtriennale, the Lucerne Festival, Wien Modern, the Tong Yeong Festival and the Holland Festival. She has worked with composers such as Helmut Lachenmann, Heiner Goebbels, Unsuk Chin, Stefan Goldmann and John Adams for concerts and CD productions, including for the ECM and Macro labels. Delphine Roche teaches at Dr. Hoch's conservatory in Frankfurt.
