Alan Tomlinson

Born 7 November 1947 in Manchester, UK, died 13 February 2023 Alan Tomlinson was a Manchester-born musician who studied trombone at the City of Leeds College of Music. An active improviser since the early 1970s, he was also a member of I.L.E.A's Cockpit Theatre Music Ensemble, Barry Guy's London Jazz Composers Orchestra, Tony Oxley's Angular Apron, and the Ballet Rambert Orchestra.
