Mikhail Krutick

Russian Violinist. He was born in Krasnoyarsk in 1980 and started his musical studies at the age of five. He finished the St. Petersburg Conservatory's Special Lyceum of Music where he studied with N. Sklyarskaya (1998) and graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory (violin class with A. Shustin, 2003). Since 1999, Krutick performed with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonics, and since 2008 has served as associate concert master. He has won several international competitions and concertizes much in and outside of Russia. He performs with the "Red Quartet" string quartet which has recorded Taneyev's quartets.
